1. Scope and Applicability

This Shipping Policy governs the processing, shipment, delivery, and related logistical aspects of orders placed with PupFest (“PupFest”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy applies to all customers unless otherwise stated in writing.

This Shipping Policy forms part of our contractual terms and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Refund Policy, which together govern your purchase.


2. Definitions

  • Business Day: Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays in the Seller’s country of establishment.

  • Processing Time: The time required to prepare an order for shipment, excluding carrier transit time.

  • Delivery: Physical receipt of goods by the customer or an authorised recipient at the delivery address.


3. Order Acceptance and Processing

  • An order is deemed accepted once payment is successfully processed and an order confirmation email is issued.

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days, unless a longer processing period is clearly disclosed at the product page or during checkout.

  • Processing time does not include shipping or carrier transit time.

  • In the event an order cannot be processed within the stated timeframe due to availability or operational constraints, PupFest reserves the right to notify the customer and provide updated delivery information in accordance with applicable law.


4. Shipping Rates and Charges

  • Shipping fees apply to all orders unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package dimensions, weight, selected shipping method, and applicable carrier surcharges.

  • The shipping charges displayed at checkout constitute the final shipping cost for the order.

PupFest reserves the right to update shipping fees for future orders due to changes in carrier pricing, fuel surcharges, or regulatory requirements. Such changes will not affect orders already confirmed.


5. Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times

  • Available shipping methods (including Standard and Express, where applicable) are displayed at checkout based on destination.

  • Estimated delivery times are provided for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed.

  • Unless a specific delivery date or timeframe is expressly agreed, delivery will occur without undue delay and, in any event, within any mandatory statutory period applicable to the customer’s jurisdiction.


6. International Shipping, Customs, and Import Charges

  • PupFest ships to selected international destinations. Availability varies by country.

  • International shipments may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, local taxes, or other governmental charges imposed by the destination country.

  • Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless expressly stated and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

  • PupFest has no control over customs processing times or associated fees and cannot predict or reimburse such charges.


7. Transfer of Risk and Responsibility

  • Responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery to the address provided, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

  • PupFest is not responsible for delays, losses, or damage caused by the shipping carrier once the order has been handed over for transit, but will provide reasonable assistance in carrier investigations where applicable.


8. Order Tracking

  • Once an order has shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.

  • Tracking updates are provided by the carrier and may be subject to delays or limitations outside PupFest’s control.

  • Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment progress using the provided tracking information.


9. Address Accuracy and Failed Deliveries

  • Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

  • PupFest is not liable for delivery failures, delays, or losses resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details.

  • If an order is returned as undeliverable, the customer may be required to pay additional shipping fees for re-delivery or may receive a refund in accordance with the Refund Policy.


10. Shipping Delays and Service Interruptions

Shipping delays may occur due to factors beyond PupFest’s control, including but not limited to carrier disruptions, customs inspections, weather conditions, peak shipping periods, or regulatory actions.

Where reasonably possible, PupFest will provide updates regarding material delays but does not guarantee uninterrupted or on-time delivery.

12. Force Majeure

PupFest shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or inability to perform shipping obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labor disputes, pandemics, governmental actions, supply chain disruptions, carrier failures, or customs delays (“Force Majeure Events”).

During a Force Majeure Event, PupFest’s obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event. Where fulfillment becomes impossible or commercially impracticable for a prolonged period, PupFest reserves the right to cancel affected orders in accordance with the Refund Policy.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PupFest shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from shipping or delivery issues. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes liability where such limitation is prohibited by mandatory consumer protection laws.


14. Policy Updates

PupFest reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time. Updates will take effect upon publication on the website and will not retroactively affect confirmed orders unless required by law.
